Complete Roof Cleaning & Restoration.
Your roof makes up to 40% of your home's facade. When it looks tired, faded, or covered in moss, it drags down the entire street appeal of your property. Beyond just looking unsightly, built-up dirt and organic growth can trap moisture, accelerating the decay of your tiles and metal sheeting.
At CBR Roofworx, we specialize in comprehensive roof cleaning and restoration services across the ACT. We don't just wash your roof; we bring it back to life, providing a durable, weather-resistant finish that protects your home and adds instant value.
Why Consider a Full Roof Restoration?
Between the biting winter frosts and the relentless summer sun in the capital, roofs age rapidly. A full restoration is a smart investment if you are noticing any of the following:
Faded or Chalky Color: UV damage has broken down the original factory coating.
Heavy Moss and Lichen: Green or white growth taking hold on your tiles, which can erode the surface and cause blockages.
Chipped or Peeling Paint: The existing membrane is failing and no longer protecting the material underneath.
Dirty Runoff: Excess dirt washing into your gutters and potentially into your rainwater tanks.
Our 5-Step Restoration Process
A high-quality roof restoration requires meticulous preparation and the right materials. We follow a strict process to ensure a flawless, long-lasting finish.
Comprehensive Inspection & Prep: We start by thoroughly assessing the roof for structural issues and safely preparing the site. We disconnect downpipes if necessary to prevent dirt and moss from clogging your stormwater drains.
High-Pressure Cleaning: Using commercial-grade high-pressure equipment, we strip away decades of dirt, grime, moss, lichen, and flaking paint, taking the roof back to a clean, sound surface.
Essential Repairs: A great coating won't fix a broken roof. We replace any cracked or shattered tiles and carry out necessary rebedding and repointing to ensure the roof is completely watertight before any paint is applied.
Sterilization: (optional) We can treat the roof to kill any remaining microscopic moss or lichen spores, preventing them from growing back underneath the new coating.
Sealing & Topcoats: We apply a high-build primer to seal the porous surface, followed by multiple coats of premium, UV-resistant roofing membrane in your choice of modern colors.
The Benefits of a Freshly Restored Roof
Boosted Property Value: A freshly restored roof dramatically modernizes your home, offering one of the highest returns on investment for exterior renovations.
Enhanced Protection: Modern roof membranes are designed to be highly durable and water-resistant, locking out moisture and preventing structural decay.
Improved Energy Efficiency: Choosing a lighter, modern grey or reflective color can significantly reduce heat absorption during the scorching Canberra summers, keeping your home cooler and lowering your air conditioning bills.
